FIFA Vancouver Family Events 2026: FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver

The main event. The official FIFA Fan Festival has taken over the PNE grounds at Hastings Park for the entire tournament, and general admission is completely free. Set within the historic PNE Grounds, the festival features a brand-new 10,000-capacity Amphitheatre where all tournament matches are screened throughout the event, alongside headline performances from Canadian and international artists. Beyond the Amphitheatre, the broader Hastings Park site is packed with food and beverage vendors, interactive fan experiences, cultural programming, brand activations, and official FIFA merchandise stores.

It’s a proper festival, not just a watch party. There’s something going on every single day, and the energy of being surrounded by fans from around the world is hard to replicate anywhere else in the city. Parking is very limited at the PNE, so plan to take transit, bike, or walk. There are secure bike valets and designated pick-up and drop-off zones on site.

  • Dates: June 11 – July 19, 2026
  • Location: PNE Grounds at Hastings Park, Vancouver
  • Admission: Free (general access); premium reserved seating available for purchase

Soccer & Technology from the FIFA Museum at Science World

If you haven’t driven past Science World lately, it’s worth the trip just to see the building. They’ve wrapped the entire geodesic dome in 131 custom hexagonal panels designed to look like the official 2026 World Cup match ball, the adidas Trionda. It’s quite the sight from the seawall.

Inside, the FIFA Museum exhibition makes its North American debut right here in Vancouver. Five interactive zones take families behind the scenes of the game: Broadcasting & Media, Intelligent Data, Refereeing & Fair Play, Staging the Game, and an Innovation Lab where kids can actually submit ideas directly to FIFA. Highlights include the very first camera used to broadcast the World Cup in 1954 (snap a selfie next to it!), the connected ball technology inside the adidas Trionda, and a field-side monitor from the Referee Review Area used at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

There’s also a Canadian showcase: Christine Sinclair’s jersey from Canada’s gold medal win at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the match ball from Canada vs. Croatia at FIFA World Cup 2022 (when Alphonso Davies scored Canada’s first-ever men’s World Cup goal), and Atiba Hutchinson’s jersey from Canada’s opening match at that same tournament.

Science World is offering 20% off general admission on select match days throughout the summer
or when you show your FIFA World Cup 26 tickets between June 11 – July 11, 2026.. Worth checking the schedule before you visit.

  • Dates: May 15 – September 7, 2026
  • Location: Science World, Vancouver
  • Admission: Science World general admission rates apply; 20% off on select match days or when you show your FIFA World Cup 26 tickets between June 11 – July 11, 2026.

Canyon Kick-Off at Capilano Suspension Bridge

The park has gone all-in on the World Cup spirit with Canyon Kick-Off, running from June 6 through July 19. The bridge is decorated with flags representing nations competing in Vancouver during the tournament, plus a giant 10-foot soccer ball suspended beneath the iconic span. Around every turn there are interactive soccer-themed activations, foosball, soccer cornhole, a Rainforest Explorer sticker album challenge, and photo moments throughout the park.

The Cliff House Restaurant is also running a globally inspired feature menu celebrating each competing nation, think Belgian moules frites, Swiss alpine mac and cheese, and a Canadian Caesar topped with maple-caramelized bacon. No passport required.

There are no match screenings, but it’s a really fun add-on if you’re already headed to North Vancouver. A free shuttle runs from downtown Vancouver, making the whole outing transit-friendly. Note: Canyon Kick-Off is not affiliated with FIFA or the World Cup.

  • Dates: June 6 – July 19, 2026
  • Location: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, North Vancouver
  • Admission: Included with regular park admission (tickets available online)
