Whether through volunteer work, donations, or supporting local businesses with a cause, each act of kindness contributes to making the festive season brighter for everyone. In this blog post, we’ll explore the various ways individuals and organizations in Metro Vancouver can come together to make a positive impact during the festive season.

Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) is once again launching their Caring Neighbours campaign for the holiday season, encouraging the community to support our neighbours in need through donations, corporate sponsorship, and fundraising. From November 13 to December 31, help FSGV empower the community’s most vulnerable – unhoused youth, survivors and families in crisis – by reaching their fundraising goal of $250,000. This year, gifts go twice as far with Amazon matching the first $50,000 in donations received. All donations raised provide direct support to thousands of low-income families, single parents, isolated seniors and marginalized youth. Through programs and direct funding, FSGV’s Caring Neighbours campaign opens the door to life-changing opportunities for those who need it – whether it’s overcoming financial wellbeing barriers or mental health support.
