Discover all the amazing things you can do with kids in Las Vegas! This vibrant city, renowned for its dazzling lights and entertainment, offers unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages. During our time there, we spent a lot of time walking around the Strip and taking in the sights and sounds of Las Vegas. We are so excited to share a list of things to do with kids in Las Vegas!

About the Hotel in Las Vegas

We stayed at the Nobu Hotel in Caesar’s Palace, right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip – its central location was the main reason we chose the hotel. There is definitely more kid-friendly hotels with amazing pools like the MGM Grand, which boasts multiple pools and a fun lazy river.

About the Food

One thing we quickly realized is that food in Las Vegas can be quite expensive. While we didn’t find any meals that were particularly amazing, the fast food options were a hit with our family.

  • Shake Shack: Their burgers and milkshakes are always a favorite for us.
  • In-N-Out: The burgers are fantastic, though I’m not a big fan of their milkshakes.
  • Eataly: This place was nice, offering a variety of pastas, sandwiches, and gelato. However, it was definitely on the pricey side.
  • Milk Bar: We are obsessed with their Milk Bar pie and ice cream – both are so delicious.
  • Bouchon: We went here for brunch. The service was really good, and we loved the bread, but overall, the food was just okay.
  • Cookie Shot by Chef Dominique Ansel: This was a sweet treat that my daughter enjoyed. She loved watching the robot put chilled Madagascan vanilla milk into the cookie cup. (Reel: instagram.com/reel/C5yaqy0RS71/)
  • Coke Around the World: We sampled Coke flavours from all around the world. This time, we found more flavours we didn’t like than what we liked.
  • Hello Kitty Cafe: The cafe was adorable with cute decorations. The drinks and desserts were okay but very sweet and pricey.
  • Honolulu Cookies: If you love Honolulu cookies, there’s a store in Vegas where you can stock up on your favourite cookies.

Free Shows

Expanding on the list of things to do with kids in Las Vegas, we enjoyed several free shows and activities:

Las Vegas Show

We decided to catch a couple of shows:

  • KA by Cirque du Soleil: This was an amazing experience. The show was filled with action and excitement, with performers flying above us and a stage that moved in all directions.
  • Tournament of Kings: While the food was mediocre and the show a bit corny, the atmosphere was fun with lots of fire, lights, and sparkles. It is a medieval-themed dinner show where you can enjoy a feast while watching knights joust and perform. Our youngest enjoyed it the most.

Here are some other family friendly shows that I didn’t watch, but you may be interested in:

  • Mystère by Cirque du Soleil: A classic Cirque du Soleil show featuring acrobatics, humor, and stunning visual effects.
  • Blue Man Group: A fun and interactive show with music, comedy, and multimedia performances.

Fun Shops

Las Vegas is also home to some unique and fun shops:

  • Stranger Things Store: This store is a must-visit for fans of the show, with lots of cool merchandise and themed decorations that make you feel like you’re in the Upside Down. (Reel: instagram.com/reel/C7euVlUpVEI/)
