Easter is just around the corner and these local vendors have some exciting Easter treats planned for everyone. They all look amazing – I think we might have to get them all!


Cupcakes is a place where you find the comforts of freshly baked goods and take a moment to pause and enjoy. We celebrate sunny days, rainy days, Mondays, Birthdays, and everything else in between. Our focus starts with a perfectly made treat, but our care continues beyond. It’s about friendship, positivity and connection.

We offer cupcakes and cakes. Our products are fresh and handmade daily from scratch. We never use preservatives and additives. And, we source only the best local ingredients whenever possible. To keep things fun, we always create seasonal flavours to try!

La Glace

La Glace is an award winning, premier line of French ice cream in Vancouver and voted best ice cream in Metro Vancouver in 2019.

All our ice cream is made from scratch, composed of a crème anglaise base; a thick custard of egg yolks & heavy cream. The end result – an ice cream that has little aeration making it a rich and decadent experience.

La Glace is made for the dreamer – the romantic who desires to indulge in life’s simplest yet most rewarding pleasures.

So goes our mantra – “All things are better when shared with someone cherished;” and all are invited to indulge.

Chez Christophe

Our Easter 2021 Collection is available for pre-orders starting March 11th! All Chocolate Showpieces hit the shelves on Tuesday, March 23rd.  

This year we are introducing our “Easter Smash-Ables”. Break open a chocolate shell to find marshmallows and crispy chocolate and strawberry covered cereal pearls. Our Easter Smash-Ables include: “Coco Chic” (34% white chocolate) and “Luis Lapin” (35% milk chocolate). We also have our Easter Showpiece Eggs, available in Monotone Dark and Monotone Caramel. Making a return is our Signature Egg and our 42% Milk Chocolate and 35% Caramelised White Chocolate Lollipops. All items are shippable with the exception of the Signature Egg and desserts.  

Hours of operations are Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. We are open on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 at both locations. For more information:

Cookievonster DIY cookie decorating kits consists of 12 buttery shortbread cookies, 4 colours of icing bags ready, sprinkles and also some unique home-made sprinkles for the easter theme. Its also included a couple of mini treats to enjoy while decorating your cookies. This Easter, Buttermere Patisserie is joining in on spreading fun and joy with out-of-this-world Easter Egg treats that can be enjoyed by both adults and children alike.

Buttermere is introducing three variations of a 7-inch tall egg-shaped chocolate shell filled with assorted confections known as dragées. These interactive Easter egg treats come in distinct shell hues and flavours.Hidden within each chocolate shell are in-house crafted dragées meant to resemble colourful miniature eggs. Dragées are sweet bites, typically nuts and freeze-dried fruits coated with chocolate or sweet confections to create an outer shell. Every Egg is filled with assorted dragée flavours including Nesquik® and ruby chocolate, 70% Fleur de Cao™ dark chocolate almond, caramelized white chocolate hazelnut, sesame hazelnut praline dark chocolate, lemon marzipan with Zéphyr™ white chocolate, freeze-dried cherry, and chocolate almond sable with cashew.

At $52 per Egg, each packaged Egg comes with a miniature hammer for a playful reveal. Buttermere is releasing limited quantities available from March 17th to April 5th for pre-order now until April 1st or walk-in purchase at Buttermere Café (636 Main Street) during regular business hours.

This year, Faubourg is showcasing three new treats that will make a tasty addition to any Easter celebration! Introducing our playful and equally delicious Easter Chick made with lemon white chocolate mousse, blueberry mascarpone crémeux, vanilla jaconde, and a passion fruit glaze. Also available is our pastel-coloured Easter Egg filled with milk chocolate mousse, hazelnut jaconde, blood orange gelée, and white chocolate crémeux. Finally, to complete the collection is our show-stopping Easter Cake, which features pistachio jaconde, cherry gelée, raspberry mousse, and whipped vanilla white chocolate ganache.

Mink Chocolates

The Mink Easter collection is here (in-store and online!) From bunnies to eggs, both big and small, celebrate this year with an assortment of both dark (70% Cacao Barry Fleur de Cao) and white chocolate ( 34% Cacao Barry Zephyr) treats. You’ll also find our limited edition Easter Egg, Unplugged bar – featuring a fresh mango purée in 70% cacao. Happy Easter!

For An Extra Treat During Spring Break – Dinner at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

With Spring Break just around the corner, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar launches its first-ever Kids’ Menu. This collection of elevated yet familiar bites is designed to thrill and excite while exhibiting the uncompromising Boulevard standard to which its patrons have come to expect. Executive Chef Roger Ma’s newest offering is sure to impress Vancouver’s younger diners and its future foodies. “We set out to create a menu so families have plenty of approachable yet delicious options; it has been a lot of fun to create,” shares Ma.   

The new menu inspired by General Manager JP Potter’s daughter Jamie, highlights family favourites prepared to perfection. The three-course menu features classic kid-approved options made with premium ingredients such as the BLVD JR Burger, Linguini and Meatballs, Chicken Fingers and Fries, Steak Frites and other classics.  For dessert, Canada’s Best Pastry Chef 2020, Chef Kenta Takahashi, presents a show-stopping interactive ice cream bowl that ignites excitement to both the children and adults at the table. Skip the soda, a collection of mocktails, allow junior diners to explore new flavours and join in on the fine dining experience with their families.   

While the award-winning team developed the menu, they reminisced on preferred plates from their childhood, how to perfect them and what elements to preserve. For Ma, the soft bun burger was always his go-to; Potters had an appetite for pasta and meatballs. These plates are a celebration of the simple childhood joys made with care and great ingredients – along with a few more indulgent dishes for those little gourmands.
