Our family was thrilled to embark on a weekend adventure to Squamish – a town we had never explored before. We were especially excited to stay at The Sandman Hotel and Suites as we had heard great things about the hotel’s amenities – particularly the indoor pool and water slide. This was definitely the highlight for my daughter as she couldn’t get enough of the water slide. We really liked the hotel’s central location, making it easy for us to explore Squamish’s many attractions.
The Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish offers a range of comfortable rooms. From standard rooms with King or two Queen beds to spacious suites with separate living areas and kitchenettes, the hotel provides a variety of options for guests. All rooms come with essential amenities such as flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, coffee makers, microwave, fridge, etc. The beds are comfortable and come with crisp linens and fluffy pillows. The bathrooms are clean and modern, with plush towels and complimentary toiletries.
We stayed in a suite with two Queen beds and a sofa, providing ample space for our family to relax. We appreciated the convenience of having two flat-screen TVs, one in front of the bed and the other in front of the sofa. The highlight of our suite was undoubtedly the stunning mountain view from our hotel window. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the mountains made our stay at The Sandman Hotel even more special.
The hotel offers a range of amenities from indoor pool to fitness center. The indoor pool, hot tub and water slide was our family highlight. During our three day, two night stay, we went to the pool twice. Our daughter loved the slide and we loved the hot tub! The pool can get busy, so we tried going early in the morning or in the afternoon before dinner. There is also a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, perfect for those who want to stay active during their stay. Other amenities include:
The Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish’s prime location was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We found it to be the perfect base for exploring Squamish and the surrounding area. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Squamish, where we found a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore. We enjoyed strolling through the streets, checking out the local businesses, and trying some of the delicious food around the neighbourhood. The hotel is also within a short driving distance of popular attractions such as the Britannia Mine Museum, Sea-to-Sky Gondola, and Shannon Falls Park.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the hotel is surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges and offers easy access to hiking trails, rock climbing, mountain biking, and other recreational activities. And if you’re interested in a day trip to Whistler, the hotel is less than an hour’s drive away. Overall, The Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish’s prime location makes it an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty and attractions of Squamish and the surrounding area.
