There are many yummy ice cream shops around Vancouver, so we chatted with a few local ones about their upcoming summer flavours and local foodies about their favourite shops to cool down at.
We’re a gourmet ice-creamery, sweet shop and sweet lovers wonderland located on Main Street in Vancouver. Our shelves are filled with gummies, sours, chocolates, caramels, licorice and our very own ice-cream! Our sweets come from around the globe and are carefully selected to create a colourful candy-filled paradise right here in your backyard. Summer is officially here and we’re bringing back the BETA5 Ice Cream Socials! Kicking off on Father’s Day weekend, the ice cream socials will be held every Saturday through the summer until Labour Day weekend. We begin scooping each Saturday, starting at 1pm until we’re sold out or last call at 4:30p. Guests can also pre order a sundae ahead of time to reserve their sundae, giving them flexibility to arrive later in the afternoon but guaranteeing them a sundae. We can look forward to flavours such as the ever popular Mango Bubble Tea as well as seasonally inspired sundaes using fresh fruits and ingredients sourced locally from BC! We’re looking forward to fresh strawberries, peaches and cherries!
We’ll have other frozen treats available through the summer including Ice Cream Puffs which are frozen mini cream puffs, Ice Cream Jars which are much like the dessert jars but frozen and a few other frozen treats we have planned to help us cool off in the summer heat. Flavours will change and rotate through the summer so make sure to follow along to keep up to date with the latest flavour releases.
